Veteran-Owned/Operated Evertrak Appoints Jim Vena and Greg Hewett to the Board of Directors

Proven Leadership in Rail Transportation and Capital Formation 

to Guide Evertrak in Next Period of Dynamic Growth 

October 4, 2022 – NICE Holding Co LLC announced today that Mr. Jim Vena and Mr. Greg Hewett have been appointed to the board of directors of NICE, the holding company of Evertrak LLC.  Veteran-owned and operated, Evertrak is the leader in providing Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite railroad ties made from recycled plastic to the railroad industry.

Jim Vena has four decades of experience in the transportation industry, and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Advisor to the chairman of Union Pacific Corporation from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, Mr. Vena served 40 years at Canadian National Railway Company in roles that included Chief Operating Officer and management positions in marketing, sales, operations, and engineering.  He currently serves on the board of directors of FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX).

Greg Hewett is a senior advisor to businesses and institutional investors. From 2005 to 2015, Mr. Hewett served as a Senior Managing Director and in other roles with Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager.  Prior to this, he served as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and as an attorney with Bryan Cave LLP in St. Louis.  He currently serves on the board of directors of Acushnet Holdings Corp. (NYSE:  GOLF).
